Young musical talent from 11 countries came together in Cologne, Germany, for the occasion of the 2016 Eurovision Young Musicians contest. Łukasz Dyczko from Poland, playing the saxophone, won the competition. Scrn is the official online agency of the contest, which has been co-produced by public broadcaster WDR and the European Broadcasting Union.
“We are incredibly proud to work on an event that brings together such talented young people from all over Europe,” said Paul Jordan, Project Manager Online for Eurovision Young Musicians at Scrn. “This is public service media at its best.”
Scrn will also serve the European community of public broadcasters in November of this year, when Malta will host the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and in May of next year, when Ukraine will host the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest.
Congratulations to the winner!
